Huge Tesla Cybertruck Crash in Mexico Showcases Vehicle Safety

In the early hours of Saturday, November 2, a Tesla Cybertruck was involved in a crash that quickly became the talk of Guadalajara, Mexico.

The electric truck collided with another vehicle, drawing a crowd of onlookers and a swift response from local authorities. This incident marks one of the first documented accidents involving the Cybertruck in Mexico, according to Huellas.

While the exact details of how the crash happened are still unclear, authorities are investigating factors that may have led to the accident, including road conditions and potential driver error. Three people apparently survived the accident.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk reposted images of the Cybertruck collision, saying, “Cybertruck is tougher than a bag of nails.” With the lower center of gravity of the battery pack in the Cybertruck, it must have taken a lot of energy to send the truck flipping over and over.

The Cybertruck was first delivered in Mexico back in late September, marking the first expansion outside the U.S. for the truck.

Looking at the photo, it’s insane to think how passengers were able to survive this massive crash.

This week, Tesla is ready to expand Cybertruck to Canada, with first deliveries taking place starting on Monday.
