
Tesla has officially opened up orders for its non-Foundation Series Cybertrucks, which are now available at a starting price of $79,990 USD–that’s the same starting price as a Model X.
The company is also taking orders for the higher-end $99,990 tri-motor Cyberbeast model. Production of these less expensive Cybertrucks is expected to begin soon, noted Tesla observer @SawyerMerritt. Estimated delivery dates are showing October-November 2024.
Tesla has released details on additional options and pricing for the non-Foundation Series models, including:
- Cyber Wheels and Covers: $3,500 USD
- White Interior: $2,000 USD (Tactical Gray is standard)
- Range Extender: $16,000 USD (Bumps range to 447 miles on Dual Motor; starts production mid-2025)
Also, Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability is available at a discount of $7,000 USD for early reservation holders (was $8,000 USD).
Tesla is also honoring its original $7,000 FSD price for early reservation holders, a discount from the current $8,000 price tag.

Sad that people paid $120k for this joke vehicle. In another year or so used ones will be down to the $40k price Musk originally promised.. of course they will still have half the promised range and still be the most hideous vehicle on the road.
The Cybertruck is impressive and I love that they are implementing changes that can transform all future vehicles development like the 48 volt system which reduces wire size and increases utility. I can't wait until prices come down to my price point to get one.
