Now, the next step is coming this weekend, which is Autopark. That’s according to Tesla’s head of AI and Autonomy, Ashok Elluswamy, who said this morning, “We are glad that you finally learnt how to park yourself. Looking forward to you showing this off this weekend.”
Autopark is a feature from the Full Self-Driving suite. As you drive through a parking lot, eligible spots will show up in the visualization. You just tap the spot you want, and then your Tesla will automatically park into the spot. Autopark will also allow for parallel parking on top of perpendicular parking on flat roads.
