SpaceX is extending the availability of its V4 Starlink dish to businesses with the introduction of the Starlink Enterprise Kit. This new offering, priced at $999, features similar hardware to the consumer V4 dish but with enhancements tailored for business use, reportsPCMag.
The Enterprise Kit requires a subscription to Starlink’s higher-priced business plans, starting at $140 per month. Unlike the consumer version, which includes a bundled Wi-Fi 6 router, the Enterprise Kit necessitates businesses to use their own. It also comes with a longer 50-meter cable and a more powerful high-performance power supply with an Ethernet port.
Tim Belfall, a director at UK-based Westend WiFi, highlighted the value of the new kit, noting its affordability compared to the $2,500 high-performance Starlink dish previously available for businesses. “The new Enterprise Kit brings high-performance speeds at an affordable cost,” Belfall said on LinkedIn.
Orders for the Enterprise Kit are available on Starlink.com for US customers. A SpaceX support document indicates that the kit will eventually be offered in other markets, though no timeline has been provided.
