Tesla has introduced a new accessory, the Model Y Air Mattress, priced at $225 ($310 in Canada).
This product came online earlier this week, and quickly sold now, now currently out of stock. But interested customers can sign in to their Tesla account to check compatibility and request email notifications for restocking updates.
The Model Y Air Mattress is designed for car camping, fitting snugly across the folded rear seats and trunk of the Model Y. It features three-inch, high-density foam filling for added comfort and a waterproof polyester exterior for durability. The mattress includes an air pump for quick inflation and can be deflated and stored in the vehicle’s rear well.
The package includes:
1x Air Mattress (74.4″ x 50.4″ x 3.12″)
1x Carry Bag
1x Air Pump
1x Air Pump Adaptor
2x Repair Patches
Tesla recommends using the air pump for the first inflation as self-inflation may take longer due to product compression during transportation. The mattress should not be used while the vehicle is in operation (good idea to put that warning down).
