2024.20 Release Notes: Tesla Adaptive Headlights and More
Tesla recently announced the release of its latest software update, 2024.20, which brings several new features and improvements to its vehicles.
Key highlights of the update according to Tesla include:
Adaptive Headlights for Curves
In the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and South Korea, headlights will now automatically adjust to curves in the road, enhancing visibility and safety during nighttime driving.
Enhanced Adaptive Headlights
For vehicles equipped with matrix LED headlights, the adaptive feature has been improved to also provide better illumination on highways, further enhancing driving safety and visibility.
Beach Buggy Supercharger Racing
Tesla drivers can now compete in Beach Buggy Racing while at a Supercharger, aiming to set the fastest time on the leaderboard against other players.
Hot Weather Improvements
All Model 3, Model Y, and new Model S and Model X vehicles will experience faster cabin cooling when the AC is set to Auto. The vehicles will also better regulate the high-voltage (HV) battery temperature, leading to improved performance during Supercharging.
Cybertruck AC Enhancements
The update also brings quieter air conditioning for the Cybertruck, providing a more comfortable cabin environment. Let’s go!
