Tesla Cybertruck in Canada: Regulatory Paperwork Underway
When will Tesla’s Cybertruck launch in Canada? It is supposed to happen soon, according to a Tesla executive.
Rohan Patel, Tesla’s Vice President, Public Policy and Business Development, shared an update on Saturday morning, when asked about the Cybertruck for Canadians.
“@cybertruck team is gonna make this happen, and is working on the regulatory paperwork and submissions. Canadian authorities have been super reasonable, so I’m very optimistic,” said Patel.
“The [Cybertruck] is gonna be a huge hit in Canada as we can see from the wild amount of interest. Please be patient with us and know that the team is focused on getting this done,” he said.
We’re seeing lots of customers take Cybertruck deliveries in the U.S., as Giga Texas continues to ramp up production of the truck.
Patel previously shared that Canadians are also set to gain Full Self-Driving (FSD) subscriptions “in the coming weeks”.
