Rivian R2 Revealed, Pricing from $45,000
Rivan has revealed its R2 electric SUV today, confirming some previously leaked specs.
The R2 can go from 0-60 in under 3 seconds and offer up to 300+ miles of range, while offering seating for five people.
Rivian says deliveries are expected to begin in the first half of 2026, which is two years from now. The R2 has a 360-degree open air experience, including powered rear glass.
The R2 has every seat that can lay flat for the “ultimate car camping experience.”
The Tesla NACS charge port gives expansion to the Supercharger network. Refundable reservations are available now at $100 US or $150 CAD.
The Rivian R2 length is 185.6 inches (shorter than a Tesla Model Y by less than two inches, and about 15 inches shorter than an R1S). The width is 75 inches (84.4 inches with mirrors) and height at 66.9 inches.
