Hawaiian Airlines Free Starlink Wi-Fi on Transpacific Flights
Hawaiian Airlines announced on February 9th the introduction of SpaceX’s Starlink internet service on its A321 aircraft, marking a significant enhancement in passenger experience with the offer of free, high-speed Wi-Fi on select transpacific flights.
The airline is swiftly working to equip its entire A321 fleet with this service, aiming to extend it to all A330 and A321neo aircraft by the end of 2024.
Passengers flying between Hawaii and the Continental U.S. on select A321neo aircraft can now enjoy unparalleled internet access at no cost, embodying Hawaiian Airlines’ commitment to authentic Hawaiian hospitality and comfort.
This plans puts Hawaiian Airlines as the first major airline to provide guests with Starlink’s advanced internet technology, enabling passengers to stream, game live, work, and share their travel experiences on social media seamlessly.
The process to connect to the Wi-Fi is straightforward—passengers need to look for the “High Speed Internet by Starlink” decal upon boarding and connect their devices to the “Starlink WiFi on HawaiianAir” network without the need for registration or payment.
Hawaiian Airlines’ dedication to improving the in-flight experience is evident in its rapid deployment of Starlink Internet across its fleet, promising passengers a more connected and enjoyable journey across the Pacific.
SpaceX and Hawaiian first entered a partnership back in April 2022, and now we’re seeing a wider rollout after beta testing.
