Tesla Reveals Cybertruck Pricing, Specs and More at Special Event
Tesla has just announced details of its Cybertruck at its special event at Giga Texas in Austin.
After a cool Cybertruck promo video, CEO Elon Musk rolled up on stage in the electric truck, speaking to the audience while standing in the bed of the truck.
“So once in a long while a product comes along that is rare,” said Musk, echoing former Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. “We have a car here that experts said was impossible, that would never be made,” said Musk.
“I think it’s our best product and I think it’s the most unique thing on the road. And finally, the future will look like the future,” said Musk.
Cybertruck has “more utility than a truck and faster than a sports car,” in the same package said Musk.
Tesla Cybertruck has an in-house designed custom alloy that has never existed before. The steel will not corrode but can still be made in volume. You can’t stamp these body panels. Cybertruck has more torsional stiffness than a McLaren P1
Cybertruck glass is rock-proof and can withstand impact of baseball at 70 mph or class 4 hail. Makes for a very quiet interior. The truck doesn’t roll over. Centre of gravity is low, said Musk.
Here are Cybertruck specs below:

Here’s what the Cybertruck Range Extender looks like:
Tesla started deliveries to actual owners with Musk personally closing the door while they entered the trucks. “As you can see we’ve got quite a few to deliver here,” said Musk to the audience.
