
Tesla’s Model Y has been priced at 44,990€ in the Netherlands, making it now eligible for the country’s 2,950€ SEPP incentive, according to a recent post from Tesla Europe.
In related news, Roland Pircher, an industry analyst, reported on the performance of Tesla in the Netherlands for the month of October.
The data reveals that Tesla secured a 3.8% market share with 1,083 units sold. Notably, the Model Y emerged as the fifth best-selling car in the country. The sales distribution for Tesla in October was dominated by the Model Y at 60% and the Model 3 at 38%. The Model 3 witnessed a significant sales surge, registering a 1,331% increase from the previous month.
Pircher highlighted that October marked the best first month of any quarter for Tesla in the Netherlands, with sales up by 43% compared to the previous record. Year-to-date sales have skyrocketed by 648% compared to the same period last year, and the cumulative sales for the year have already surpassed last year’s total by 307%.
Furthermore, Pircher noted that October’s performance for Tesla has been superior to the previous year in all countries, with the exception of Austria. He also anticipates a strong showing from Tesla in China.
