Lucid Motors has launched a new referral program aimed at rewarding its most loyal customers it says. The program allows current Lucid owners to refer new buyers, with both parties receiving various incentives and rewards based on the model purchased.
Owners can log into their portal to share a referral link, which new buyers can tap to receive discounts on their orders. The program offers point-based rewards for different Lucid Air models, while buyers can save up to $1,250 depending on model purchased.
The program seems like it’s taking a page from Tesla’s playbook as the latter also has a very popular referral program right now.
The program also includes exclusive experiences, such as a factory tour in Casa Grande, Arizona, or a behind-the-scenes tour of Lucid headquarters, both of which come with flights for two and two-night hotel accommodations for 50,000 points. A limited-edition sketch signed by Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO of Lucid Motors, can be redeemed for 20,000 points.
Additional rewards include various Lucid-branded accessories, ranging from home charging stations to all-weather floor mats, which can be redeemed using the earned points.
The referral program is currently not available to residents of Ohio and Virginia and is exclusive to the United States. Sales tax on rewards will be calculated at checkout and can only be paid with reward points.
