SpaceX Starlink Now Widely Available Across the U.S., Waitlists Gone
SpaceX announced the removal of the waitlist for its Starlink satellite internet service in the United States, allowing immediate access for all interested customers.
The company attributes this milestone to the increased capacity of its latest Starlink satellites. “Deployment of our second generation Starlink satellites, which have 4x more capacity than the first gen, enable us to connect even more people no matter where they live,” said Starlink on X.
“Starlink is now available across the United States,” said the company.

The consistent launches of Starlink dishes into low-Earth orbit by SpaceX have paid off it seems, as now everyone across the U.S. can subscribe and no longer need to wait for the service. Dishes can be purchased from SpaceX and from select retailers online.
As of Monday, the last remaining areas on the waitlist, primarily in the southeastern US, were cleared. This development came days after SpaceX launched another 22 Starlink satellites into orbit. According to astronomer Jonathan McDowell, SpaceX now has a total of 4,845 Starlink satellites in orbit.
SpaceX is in the process of debuting next-generation dish hardware, which is anticipated to offer improved performance.
