Tesla Debuts Video Advertisement at Baseball Game

On September 9, 2023, attendees at the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons game at Sahlen Field witnessed a significant moment in automotive advertising.
For the first time, an advertisement for Tesla was showcased during the game. This revelation comes shortly after Tesla announced its intention to experiment with advertising strategies back in May of this year at its annual shareholder meeting.
The 30-second advertisement provided a comprehensive look at Tesla’s impressive range of vehicles, including the Model S/X, Model 3/Y, Semi, Roadster, and the much-anticipated Cybertruck. But the spectacle didn’t end there. In a grand gesture, a Tesla vehicle was driven onto the field, much to the excitement of the crowd.
The event was aptly named “Tesla Family Day,” and it saw a significant presence from employees of Gigafactory 2 New York. Among the attendees was Calvin Klesmith Sr., a Manufacturing Engineer from the Gigafactory in Buffalo. Klesmith took to social media to share his excitement, stating, “Think I just saw my first Tesla Ad!”

Tesla also previously started advertising by participating in Electrify Expo events, showcasing its vehicles, earlier this year.
