Tesla myQ Connected Garage Now Improved, Free Trial is Back

Tesla myq improved

The Tesla myQ connected garage experience has improved, while a price drop has occurred for returning customers. That’s according to an email sent out to myQ customers received by Tesla North.

With myQ integration into your Tesla, you can have your compatible garage door open and close automatically, as you leave or approach your home. You don’t need any add-ons to your Tesla for this to happen, just a compatible myQ garage door as the connections are via cellular or Wi-Fi connection.

The email from myQ says they have improved the reliability of the feature’s manual and automatic open and close feature. “You should now have a more consistent experience when trying to open and close your garage,” reads the myQ email.

Also, myQ is now offering another 30-day free trial for Tesla owners again, even if they have already tested out the feature for free. For returning owners, coupon code 10RET to save 10% off. This results in the following prices (Canadian currency according to the email):

  • 10 years: $355 (was $395)
  • 5 years: $211.50 (was $235)
  • 1 year: $53.10 (was $59)

The 10% off coupon offer ends on October 15, 2023 at 11:59pm PST. The fine print says the offer does not apply to past purchases and cannot be combined with other offers

USA pricing was last set at $45 for one year, $179 for five years, and $299 for ten years.

We just re-activated another free 30-day trial just now. Let’s see if myQ is better than before, we’ll report back soon.
