The latest iteration of the Polestar 2 is set to offer an immersive driving experience, emphasizing enhanced performance tailored for driving enthusiasts, said the company in an email obtained by Tesla North on Tuesday.
The Long Range Dual Motor version of the Polestar 2 now has 300 kW (408 bhp) all-wheel drive. Furthermore, on a full charge, the vehicle can travel an estimated distance of 444 km, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
In addition to its upgraded performance, the newly unveiled Long Range Dual Motor model of the Polestar 2 comes with an enticing price tag for interested buyers.
For a limited period, customers can lease the vehicle at $668 CAD ($495 USD) per month, with a lease APR of 3.99% for a 48-month period. This lease offering is exclusively available through Polestar Financial Services (PFS) for qualified customers upon credit approval.
The lease proposal is for the 2024 model of the Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, which carries a retail value of $65,450 CAD. The monthly lease fee of $668 CAD encompasses a $2,500 freight and PDI fee and a $350 lease service fee.
Additional costs, including an air conditioning charge of $100 (where applicable), as well as related fees, levies, duties, insurance, registration, and other associated charges, are exclusive of this monthly payment.
To secure the lease, customers would need to make an upfront payment of $9,880 CAD or provide an equivalent trade-in. The lease permits an annual mileage of 16,000 kilometres, with an additional charge of $0.20 for every kilometre driven beyond this limit.
It’s noteworthy that this promotional lease offering is subject to modifications and is extended to clients who satisfy the PFS credit criteria at authorized Polestar Spaces.
