Tesla Model 3 ‘Highland’ Dashboard Reportedly Leaks [PICS]
Left to right: Rumoured ‘Highland’ dashboard versus Model 3/Y
Tesla’s rumoured Model 3 refresh, known as ‘Project Highland’, is seemingly around the corner according to the latest rumours.
Now, we’re apparently seeing what claims to be a leak of the Model 3 ‘Highland’ dashboard, if pictures shared on the web today are to be believed.
Images were shared by @xiaoteshushu in China, who says the pictures were sent to them anonymously. Take this with a grain of salt, folks.
According to the former president of Munro & Associates, Cory Steuben, upon first glance, the apparent dashboard on the left looks like a “Refreshed IP (instrument panel) top cover. Larger area of A-surface is integrated into one piece. Model 3 highland?”.
Below is a closer image of the dashboard and what looks to be some sort of plug for electrical. Maybe a second driver display will be available for Highland (wishful thinking)?
Recent rumours have claimed a September launch for the new ‘Highland’ Model 3, which keeps being spotted in testing on the roads in California. Tesla also recently filed registration for the ‘Highland’ Model 3 (and eventual Model Y refresh too) in China, suggesting a launch may come soon, first from Giga Shanghai.
