A new Tesla location is ready to open its doors in Langford, British Columbia, Canada. The big event will happen on July 27, 2023, starting at 2 PM.
Tesla sent an email to customers inviting them to RSVP to the grand opening, according to an email received by Tesla North.
The store, found at 2361 City Gate Blvd in Langford, a suburb of Greater Victoria on Vancouver Island, will be showing off Tesla’s range of electric vehicles. Visitors can also find out about how to charge these cars at home, and learn about Tesla’s solar power and energy storage products.
Tesla staff will be there to answer any questions. They can explain how much the vehicles cost, what deals are available, and even organize a test drive.
To make the event more enjoyable, there will be music and food. Everyone interested in electric cars, renewable energy, or simply having a fun day out is invited to come along.
During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to see the latest Tesla vehicles and socialize with Tesla enthusiasts, said the automaker.
While the email has a picture of a Tesla showroom, it’s not the actual Langford location, which is still getting its final touches. Below is an image taken by Tesla North reader Steve W. as of June 19:
The local Langford RCMP are currently testing out a Model Y police cruiser–the first all-electric vehicle for the RCMP in Canada–will now have a nearby service center available.
This marks the first Tesla showroom and service center on Vancouver Island. Previously, for any major repairs that mobile rangers or temporary locations in downtown Victoria could not service, Tesla owners had to make the trek by ferry to Vancouver on the Lower Mainland.
