Volkswagen announced on Thursday that it is currently in discussions with Tesla regarding the implementation of the Tesla North American Charging Standard (NACS) for its customers in North America.
In an official statement, Volkswagen confirmed that the company and its associated brands are evaluating the potential adoption of Tesla’s NACS. The move is part of Volkswagen’s ongoing efforts to optimize charging solutions for its customers in the region.
“Volkswagen Group and its brands are currently evaluating the implementation of the Tesla North American Charging Standard (NACS) for its North American customers,” said the company to Reuters.
