The first deliveries of Tesla’s Cybertruck are possibly slated for Q3, as a delivery event is likely to take place according to CEO Elon Musk.

Now, we’re seeing more evidence Cybertruck production might be near or has started. Aside from seeing camouflage-wrapped Cybertrucks spotted on the roads in California, today we are seeing some video of what appears to be Cybertruck work taking place inside Gigafactory Texas.

The video was shared by Greggertruck on Friday, with the video originally seen on Facebook:

On June 23, 2023, exclusive images from inside Gigafactory Texas revealed the state of progress in the casting machine area, as shared by drone pilot Joe Tegtmeyer.

Interestingly, window covers were removed just as sightings of Cybertrucks in the wild have increased. The images show two 9K Giga Presses installed and a new North-South foundation under construction in the East bay.

Further images from the same day provide a rare glimpse into the S Stamping 2 section of Giga Texas. With wall panels removed, the images offer a comprehensive view of all the equipment installed over the past six months. This equipment, along with the Giga Presses in the Northeast corner, plays a crucial role in Cybertruck production. Tegtmeyer’s full video will be shared later today.

Also new, Tesla’s Cybertruck customer order page has been modified for U.S. orders, showing a different design.

Investor Gary Black believes Cybertruck interest will drive further Tesla sales like the Model Y did when the latter launched back in 2020.
