Tesla Delivers First Model S/X in South Korea
Tesla has delivered its first Model S and Model X vehicles in South Korea. That’s according to owner Andy (@kosarimine) on Thursday.
“I got my #modelx this morning. couldnt sleep at all 😁 thank you @elonmusk for making this great car!”, said Andy (via @Tslachan).
Back in March, Tesla launched orders of the Model S and Model X in South Korea. The vehicles remain manufactured at the company’s plant in Fremont, California, which are then shipped by sea to South Korea.
Andy then shared a photo of his new Model X being offloaded curtsied, plus a photo of the interior of the SUV, plus a video showing the Falcon Wing doors opening and closing in a tight parkade.

Later in April, Tesla started notifying Model S/X customers the first deliveries would be slated for June.
Earlier this spring, Tesla also signed a $2.9 billion nickel deal with South Korean company L&F, which will begin supplying nickel material to the U.S. automaker in early 2024.
Tesla Korea confirmed the first deliveries tonight:
