Tesla’s latest 2023.20.4.1 software update that’s rolling out brings new camera previews for the first time, allowing owners to see through cameras that were previously unavailable for viewing through the touchscreen.

A new video from @techAU shares a cool video walkthrough of the 2023.20.4.1 software update and these new camera previews.

Under the Service > Camera Preview, you can now view the following 9 cameras:

  • Cabin
  • Main
  • Wide (new)
  • Narrow (new)
  • Left Door Pillar (new)
  • Left Fender
  • Right Door Pillar (new)
  • Right Fender
  • Rear

The cabin camera was viewable through Service before and also in Tesla’s app when Sentry Mode is on. The other cameras are viewable through the Camera app in your Tesla.

The new main and wide camera views are from the front camera module on the front glass, while the left and right ‘B’ pillar camera views are also new. This gives a new perspective into what your Tesla sees as you drive.

According to Not a Tesla App, the update also brings access to the ability to view modifications to the current trip odometer (such as viewing trip minutes; it’s back again), and also new advanced service mode menus.

Tesla right now is offering $1,000 off Model S and Model X through a referral bonus, plus 3 months of Full Self-Driving when ordering through a referral. Buying a Model 3 or Model Y can also nab you 1,500 Loot Box credits. Existing inventory can also give you up to $1,000 off when buying through a referral.
