Tesla Model S Plaid Track Package Now Available to Order

Tesla has just launched sales of its Model S Plaid Track Package, starting from $15,000 USD.

The company emailed customers yesterday that Model S Plaid Track Packages would be available for purchase starting today.

Tailored for an exceptional track experience, the Model S Plaid Track Package ensures consistent high-speed control, extreme cornering power, and reliable braking during intense driving sessions, unlocking top speeds of up to 200 mph.

The Track Package comes equipped with aluminum-forged wheels, track-optimized tires, brake fluid, as well as newly designed carbon-silicon carbide rotors and single-piece forged calipers paired with high-performance pads.

These rotors, engineered with cutting-edge continuous-fiber technology, are built within a distinctive 3D matrix to enhance strength and manage heat in a superior way, says Tesla. To further boost durability, a ceramic friction layer envelops the entire rotor surface. This reduces brake dust, corrosion, and wear, while simultaneously improving the feel of the pedal for everyday driving conditions.
