A total of 36 new Tesla Superchargers went live this past week, as opposed to 22 the week before. With Tesla gradually opening its charging network up to electric vehicles (EVs) from other automakers, several new Superchargers that opened up this week are compatible with non-Tesla cars.

In addition, Tesla has committed to opening part of its existing Supercharger network in Canada to non-Tesla EVs. Tesla has also reached an agreement with rival automaker Ford to open Superchargers in the U.S. and Canada to the latter’s EVs, which will adopt Tesla’s open-source North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector by 2025.
