Twitter’s New CEO Revealed by Elon Musk
Elon Musk has just announced his replacement as CEO of Twitter on Friday morning.
As speculated, it will be Linda Yaccarino from NBCUniversal. Yesterday, Musk announced he had found a new CEO, but did not reveal the identity, only to mention it was a woman.
“I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter! @LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design & new technology,” said Musk.
“Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app,” added Musk.

Veteran tech journalist Kara Swisher suspected yesterday the new Twitter CEO job would go to NBCUniversal’s Linda Yaccarino. The Wall Street Journal seemingly corroborated that report, citing people familiar with the matter. Now, the cat is out of the bag, officially announced on Twitter by Musk.
Yaccarino interviewed Musk last month at MMA’s POSSIBLE Miami Event 2023 keynote and the interaction between both seemed like a good fit. Let’s see how this plays out. For now, Tesla’s stock price has yet to make any sudden moves on the announcement, down 1.59% as of writing. But as news percolates that might change before the closing bell.
