NIO Delivers Over 10,000 Vehicles in March and 31,000 in Q1 2023

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, NIO, has announced its March and Q1 2023 delivery results on Saturday.

NIO delivered 10,378 vehicles in March 2023. The deliveries included 3,203 electric SUVs and 7,175 electric sedans.

The company also delivered 31,041 vehicles in the first quarter of 2023, representing a 20.5% YoY increase. Cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles reached 320,597 as of March 31, 2023.

NIO is also continuing to expand its charging infrastructure in China. The company started rolling out the deployment of the third-generation Power Swap station on March 28, 2023. Each station has a service capacity of up to 408 battery swaps per day.

As of March 31, 2023, NIO had deployed 1,339 Power Swap stations, 1,285 Power Charger stations with 6,467 chargers, and 1,154 destination charging stations with 7,993 chargers worldwide. NIO is planning to install 1,000 Power Swap stations in 2023.

NIO says it has been gradually releasing Navigate on Pilot Plus (NOP+) Beta driving assist software to vehicles based on NIO Technology 2.0 (NT2.0). Since its debut on December 27, 2022, more than 30,000 users have activated and engaged NOP+ Beta, and the cumulative mileage has exceeded 15 million kilometers.

NOP+ Beta is powered by NIO’s in-house-developed intelligent driving technologies and closed-loop data management. It aims to improve the user’s driving experience by enhancing the sense of reassurance, comfort, and efficiency. Going forward, NIO plans to deliver more features through over-the-air updates.
