Autogefühl Reviews 2023 Tesla Model S Plaid on Autobahn [VIDEO]

Autogefühl‘s Thomas Majchrzak recently posted his in-depth review of the 2023 Tesla Model S Plaid — or as he calls it, the “hypercar from stock.” The first customer deliveries of the Model S/X Plaid in Germany were only just confirmed this week.

Majchrzak, a journalist and car enthusiast from Germany, took the Model S Plaid for a spin on the Autobahn. The Autobahn is a controlled-access highway system in Germany, parts of which allow drivers to go as fast as they want.

Majchrzak started the video off with a full walkthrough of the specs, exterior, and interior of Tesla’s refreshed 2023 Model S Plaid.

He then took to the Autobahn, which the all-electric premium sedan zipped along at a top speed of 267 km/h. Majchrzak was able to hit 200 km/h with Tesla’s Model Y, which he reviewed last year, on the Autobahn.

That isn’t even nearly the peak of what the Model S Plaid can achieve, though. In Europe, the Model S Plaid is rated for a top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph) when retrofitted with Tesla’s Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit.

The 2023 Model S Plaid has an updated interior with several improvements for the cockpit. Majchrzak was quite happy with the Model S Plaid’s air suspension and in-cabin feel, both of which he found comfortable.

At one point during the drive, the YouTuber had to pause to “digest” the sheer speed and acceleration the vehicle delivered. Last year, the Model S Plaid set a new speed record at Germany’s Nurburgring race track.
