SpaceX is offering some Starlink internet promos right now in select nations around the globe.
In Australia, Starlink is on sale for 50% off at $450 (regular $924) for the hardware kit, until New Year’s according to SpaceX. An image was shared on Reddit of the Starlink website by u/CHIRP15.
This is a significant discount on Starlink hardware and will surely sign up more customers in Australia. Starlink’s monthly cost remains at $139 AUD per month.
As for Starlink users in Italy, some are seeing emails noting a price drop from $70 euro to $50 euro for monthly service. “Starting November 1, 2022, Starlink will reduce your monthly fee from 70 euro to 50 euro per month. No action is required on your part, the price reduction will automatically be visible on your next invoice,” reads a screenshot of the email shared by u/PracticalBuilding3.
There’s also a promo in Italy and Switzerland offering Starlink for just 1 euro upfront for 30 days. “For a limited time in Italy, try Starlink for 30 days for only €1 upfront,” says SpaceX.
But the kicker is “the remaining balance of €409 will be automatically charged 30 days after receipt unless you cancel service and return an undamaged Kit.” So user beware if you forget to cancel.
