Tesla has officially launched Superchargers at Laguna Seca Raceway in Salinas, California.
Back in June, Tesla shared a video of pre-fabricated Superchargers making their way to Laguna Seca, a popular racetrack for both gasoline and electric vehicles.
Now, Tesla’s Superchargers at Laguna Seca Raceway have gone online. That’s according to the aftermarket modification company, Unplugged Performance on Thursday evening.
“At long last Superchargers have gone live again at Laguna Seca! Thank you @Tesla and @elonmusk for supporting racing and high performance driving,” said the company.

The location of these V3 Superchargers are inside the race track, at a “badass pit location”, right next to the pit lane.
Driver Craig Coker “will be piloting Dark Helmet Model S-APEX Plaid against some of the fastest race cars at the NASA National Championships this weekend at Laguna Seca!”, explained Unplugged Performance.
Back in August of last year, the Unplugged Performance Tesla Model S Plaid set an EV lap record at Laguna Seca Raceway, driven by Randy Post.
Earlier this month, Tesla also launched Superchargers at another popular racetrack in California, at Buttonwillow Raceway, offering 16 V3 charging stalls.
