Tesla Sending Out Invites for Annual Shareholder Meeting at Giga Texas
Shareholders of Tesla are receiving their first correspondence from the automaker regarding its upcoming annual shareholder meeting, as seen in a photo shared on Twitter on Tuesday.
Tesla is starting to send out invites for its annual shareholder meeting, set to take place in August at the automaker’s Gigafactory Texas (via @SawyerMerritt).
The shareholder meeting will happen at Giga Texas on August 4 starting at 5:30 p.m. ET, and those who were invited can begin registering for the event now.
In the invite, Tesla said, “Congratulations—your eligibility to attend Tesla’s 2022 Annual Shareholder Meeting is confirmed.” The invite continues, “You must complete registration prior to arrival in order to receive your ticket. No tickets will be issued on the day of the event.”

The invite also says that no extra guests are permitted at the event, and that the automaker will check identification when shareholders arrive at the Austin, Texas EV factory.
Tesla delivered 254,695 vehicles in Q2, seeing somewhat of a downturn due to a 22-day production halt at the automaker’s Gigafactory Shanghai.
Despite a decrease in sales, June was Tesla’s best production month yet, and the automaker is upgrading assembly lines at both Giga Shanghai and Berlin this month to increase output capacity.
