Tesla Offers Free Supercharging for Memorial Day in Select States

Around the holidays, Tesla has been known to offer free off-peak hours Supercharging rates, and the upcoming Monday off in the U.S. is set to gain the same treatment.

Tesla is offering free Supercharging during off-peak hours for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend, as detailed on the company’s website.

From Friday, May 27, 2022 to Monday, May 30, 2022, during the times of before 10AM and after 7PM, Supercharging will be free at select sites.

The free Supercharging sites include Supercharger station locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Specific locations within each state range from just one site in Colorado and Nevada to as many as 28 different Supercharger stations in California.

Last week, Tesla also opened a wave of new Superchargers around the world, including a few in California and one in Colorado.

Tesla also offered free holiday Supercharging in the U.S. during off-peak hours in December, though the current offerings largely take place in the Southern U.S.

During the early days of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Tesla was also offering free Supercharging to those in surrounding countries to help aid those leaving the area.

Earlier this month, Tesla officially opened its Supercharger network to non-Tesla cars in the UK, Spain, Belgium and other European locations.
