Tesla Updates Model S/X Rear Display Interface for Seat Warmers
Tesla’s 2022.12.3.1 software update started rolling out this week, and one driver noted a change made to the rear screen’s seat heater display in a Model S refresh.
A new visual for the Tesla Model S rear screen seat warmers has been included with Tesla’s 2022.12.3 and 2022.12.3.1 software updates, as detailed by @Chad Booker on Thursday.
In the post, Booker included a photo of the new seat warmer visual, which now includes a side view animation of the seats and a vibrant red covering the outer seats.
The old visual showed a top-down view of the seats from left to right, with small heat symbols to indicate heaters toggled on or off, as shared in a picture of the old interface by @Calvin Dabrowski.
Booker also noted that this was the only change to the rear media center that he could find on the Model S refresh update.
Additionally, another user noted that the Model X Plaid gained the animation update too, also sharing a picture of their rear-seat heater screen.

The 2022.12.3.1 and 2022.12.3 updates also included improvements to the user interface including the addition of more customization to the home screen’s bottom tool bar, after some owners complained about its lack of flexibility as part of the V11 holiday software update.
Other improvements included certain apps, the child locks and increased language support, among other updates still.
