Tesla CEO Elon Musk says the expansion of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta will reach Europe this summer.
Musk said on Tuesday afternoon, “FSD Beta should be available in Europe for [left hand drive] this summer, [right hand drive] a few months later.” The Tesla CEO added, “these dates depend on regulatory approval.”
Tesla recently expanded FSD beta to Canada for those with Safety Scores of a perfect 100 and to more owners with scores of 99 last night. Canada is the first country outside the U.S. to get FSD beta.
Combined with “Elon time” and also stricter regulations in Europe, it remains to be seen if this timeline will remain on track. But nonetheless, this is exciting news for Tesla owners in Europe.
