Tesla has finally launched Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta in Canada on late Saturday evening and early Sunday morning.

A public release of 2022.4.5.20 has brought FSD beta 10.11.1, as noted by Zack (@BLKMDL3) in California. Internal testers saw this software release earlier this week.

However, Canadians such as Gary (@akidesir) noted they are now downloading 2022.4.5.20 to their Model 3, signalling the release of FSD beta in Canada, the first expansion of the beta outside of the United States. Gary has a Safety Score of 100 so look forward to hearing more about his FSD beta experience in Canada.

Back on March 17, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said “FSD releasing to Canada next week”, and launch does fall within his timeline as stated.

In late February, the release of 2022.4.5.4 introduced the ‘Request Full Self-Driving Beta’ button in Canada, signalling the debut of Safety Scores in the country, ahead of the FSD beta release. It’s assumed only those with high Safety Scores of 99 or 100 will get to test FSD beta. We’ll find out shortly.

…developing, refresh for updates
