Electrify Canada has announced a partnership with Lucid Motors, in which buyers who reserve a Lucid Air by June 30 will receive two years of complimentary charging, according to a press release.
Lucid Air drivers will get access to the Electrify Canada Plug&Charge payment system, as well as the company’s 350kW charging speeds — which can charge the 350km-ranged Air in about 15 minutes.

Zak Edson, vice president, sales and service at Lucid said, “We are excited to work with Electrify Canada given the quality and reliability of its charging network and plans to expand across Canada.” Edson said, “By combining our groundbreaking battery technology with Electrify Canada’s ultra-fast charging speeds, we will provide our customers with a premium electric driving experience.”
Using the Lucid app, drivers will be able to locate Electrify Canada’s 30 stations, featuring 120 individual charging units.
The company’s charging stations also come with protective and well-lit canopies along highways with nearby access to restaurants and shopping.
Electrify Canada is also expanding its presence and expects to have over 100 charging stations across the country with 500 charging units.
Last year, Electrify Canada unveiled its HomeStation residential EV charger which users can install at home and charge their vehicles when not in use.
Back in September 2018, Electrify America and Lucid Motors announced a partnership for American customers, but now it has expanded to Canada.
