With SpaceX and Tesla supporting Ukraine with Starlink internet and Powerwalls against the invasion from Russia, one Tesla owner is going all-in their support for the nation under attack.
According to David F. from Edinburgh, United Kingdom on Facebook, he has shared pictures of his Model 3 with a custom ‘Free Ukraine’ wrap, turning the Tesla into the colours of the Ukrainian flag. The Skinz wrap was donated and sponsored by AJP Logistics.
“So here’s the finished car. Thank you for all your comments. Here’s the thing, I am not going to defend myself or the sponsors who thought this could be a useful tool amongst many more,” said David.
“I worked in the [Ukraine] and have many friends there. Tonight some are sleeping in the basement,” said David on Friday. “It’s -6C tonight. Many shared the car on Facebook and it [brought] a smile to [a lot] of faces. It’s a fairly lonely place just now and [there’s] a value in saying we are thinking about, we care and we are so sorry our governments have let you down.”
David also set up a custom light show for this Model 3 that plays the Ukrainian national anthem, sung by Ukrainian singer Zlata Ognevych.
