SpaceX CEO Elon Musk shared a Starship update on Thursday evening, at Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas.
At an evening presentation by Musk, SpaceX detailed how the launch tower at Starbase will help Starship and also catch the Super Heavy rocket booster.
On Wednesday night, SpaceX stacked Starship atop the Super Heavy using its ‘Mechzilla’ and the latter’s ‘chopsticks’ arms.
The Raptor 2 engines can generate over 230 tons of thrust at sea level, says SpaceX, compared to its predecessor at 185 tons.

“A fully and rapidly reusable launch vehicle is key to a future in which humanity is out exploring the stars,” said SpaceX.
