Tracking Elon Musk’s Travel Plans Becoming a ‘Security Issue’, Says Tesla CEO

Tesla CEO Elon Musk wants people to stop tracking his travel plans, as they are becoming a “security issue”.

On Monday evening, Musk responded to blatantly false ‘confirmed’ reports that he was travelling to Giga Berlin in Germany this week. In a rare comment on his travel itinerary, Musk shot back to say “this isn’t true,” stating instead he was going to Berlin in mid-February instead.

Tesla insider @SawyerMerritt later stated he would no longer be detailing Musk’s travel plans to respect the latter’s privacy and security, and that’s when Musk disclosed for the first time, “yeah, unfortunately this is becoming a security issue.”

The paparazzi in real life have turned to the internet to easily track Musk’s whereabouts, either by the public flight logs of his private plane or so-called verified reports on his itinerary. Musk is subtly asking for privacy and it should be respected by the Tesla community.
