The Tesla Owners Club Austin announced on Sunday evening it will hold Tesla Con Texas in early 2022 in Austin, set to be the “biggest Tesla fan gathering ever.”
The multi-day event will feature “special guest Tesla social media influencers”, while the event will try to break the world record for the most Tesla cars in one place. Tesla Con Texas also has tentative plans to explore the food scene in Austin, a bar crawl through the city’s iconic South Congress neighbourhood, karaoke, wine tasting, family and pet-friendly events and more.
Those interested in attending Tesla Con Texas are told to RSVP on its website. The event date is still up in the air, but organizers are trying to get a sense of interest and attendance numbers through this sign up form.

Tesla is rumoured to launch production for the first time at its Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, sometime in early 2022, possibly within the next 7-10 days according to Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives.
Elon Musk has previously stated Tesla will hold a launch party to kick off Giga Texas, so it’s likely Tesla Con Texas will have its dates tied to the electric automaker’s grand opening launch party.
