The online Tesla shop recently added a wireless portable device charger, and while it’s already out of stock after just a week of the holiday season, one customer has shared new unboxing photos of the hardware.
Unboxing photos shared on Tuesday show off the sleek, matte black finished version of the Tesla Qi device charger (via Reddit).

The device, currently sold out in every color, is about the size of a cell phone, even fitting the iPhone 12 Pro Max, and it offers up to 10,000 mAh of portable backup power for phones and other Qi-charging devices.

The power bank also includes both USB-A and USB-C ports, though the latter is only used for charging the battery pack itself.

When one user said the Tesla device charger was twice as costly as other third-party power banks on Amazon, the original sharer of the photos went on to say validate the claim, saying “pretty much.”
In response, the original poster said, “Anker sells a 10k mah Qi powerbank for $30-35 on Amazon. The Tesla one looks cooler, but that metallic paint is probably slippery if you don’t have a rubberized case on your phone (keep in mind not all cases are Qi-friendly).”
