Tesla’s climate controls allow owners to enable various states, including one known as ‘Camp Mode’.
According to Tesla, “Camp Mode allows you to power electronics through the USB ports and 12V outlet in addition to maintaining the cabin temperature.”
Camp Mode also keeps the touchscreen on, “so you can play music, browse the internet, play games in the arcade, or watch shows in Tesla Theater. You can also control media and climate settings from a paired phone. Camp Mode is ideal for remaining inside your vehicle, such as camping or staying with a child. While active, Sentry Mode and the vehicle alarm system are disabled.”
Tesla has now shared a new Camp Mode video in its Discover series, which details the various features of its vehicles.
“Use Camp Mode to stay comfortable while camping in your Tesla. Put your vehicle into Camp Mode to maintain its cabin lighting, temperature, airflow and to play music,” explains Tesla. Check out the cool video below:
