
Tesla has changed the range estimates of its Model Y compact crossover SUV, as numbers now differ based on your wheel choice (via @SawyerMerritt).
Here are the changes for the Model Y Long Range, which originally stated 326 miles of range based on Tesla’s EPA estimate:
- 19-inch Gemini Wheels: 330 miles
- 20-inch Induction Wheels: 318 miles
The Model Y Performance range is at 303 miles with its 21-inch Uberturbine wheels.
If you choose a 7-seater option for Model Y, you’ll see a decrease in range by 4 miles.
Delivery estimates for the entry Long Range Model Y are showing as September 2022.
