Lucid Group announced on Friday morning the confirmation of Canadian pricing for its Lucid Air electric sedan, starting from $105,000 CAD. It also marks the first time Lucid Group has confirmed pricing outside of the U.S. market, plus the upcoming opening of its first Studio outside the U.S. as well, coming to Vancouver, British Columbia.
As of now, Canadians can reserve all Lucid Air models with a $400 CAD refundable reservation fee.
“Announcing Canadian pricing and our first retail location in the country in tandem is critical in bringing the Lucid brand to Canada,” said Zak Edson, Senior Director, Sales and Service, Lucid Group, in a statement to Tesla North. “This opening is the first of many announcements for locations outside of the U.S. market as we continue our rapid global expansion.”
The first Lucid Studio in Canada will be opening at CF Pacific Centre in downtown Vancouver on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
Essentially, this is a Lucid store that lets customers experience the Lucid Air and learn more about the vehicle line up. There will also be a Lucid Air in the Studio, plus VR headsets for customers to experience the car. Lucid accessories such as clothing and water bottles are also available for purchase.

This will be Lucid’s 10th Studio, with a second Canadian location planned for the Toronto, Ontario, area in 2022, with “other Canadian locations to follow”.
Lucid says they plan to open 20 Studios and service centres through 2021.

Lucid Group started production of its Lucid Air back in September at its factory in Casa Grande, Arizona. The company says the first Lucid Air deliveries to customers will take place in “late October”.
