Back in June, it was reported famed author Walter Isaacson was in talks with Elon Musk to write the latter’s biography.
On Wednesday evening, Musk confirmed Isaacson was indeed writing his biography. “If you’re curious about Tesla, SpaceX & my general goings on, @WalterIsaacson is writing a biography,” said Musk.

Isaacson has written numerous biographies for important figures, including the likes of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and more.
As for working together, Musk said, “He’s shadowed me for several days so far,” referring to Isaacson.
Musk said of Isaacson’s work, “yeah, they’re all good, but I particularly liked his biography of Ben Franklin.”

Currently, another book about Elon Musk written by tech reporter Ashlee Vance is on sale on Amazon for $2.99 USD, for the Kindle edition. Vance had participation from Musk his in his book about the SpaceX and Tesla CEO.
