After a successful Falcon 9 CRS-22 launch of SpaceX’s reusable Dragon spacecraft last month, the spacecraft is set to return to Earth after undocking on Thursday.
NASA autonomously undocked the SpaceX CRS-22 mission’s Dragon cargo spacecraft from the International Space Station (ISS) on Thursday morning, as broadcast live on NASA TV.
The spacecraft is set to arrive back on Earth Friday around 10:30 p.m. EDT near Tallahassee, Florida, and will carry a variety of cargo and scientific information from the ISS.

The reusable SpaceX Dragon arrived at the International Space Station on June 5 after a June 3 launch carrying 7,000 pounds of cargo, as well as a handful of supplies for the crew living on the ISS.
Upon return to the Earth, the spacecraft will include 5,000 pounds of cargo as well as research related to human muscle health in space.
