
Ahead of Tesla’s Model S Plaid delivery event this week, Elon Musk has announced on Sunday the company has apparently canceled its Model S Plaid+ with higher range of 520 miles.
Musk added, “no need, as Plaid is just so good.” We’ll find out soon enough what Tesla’s goal is with Plaid this week.
Tesla recently removed the ability to order the Model S Plaid+ in the United States and later Canada. As of writing it’s still showing on the company’s website but still greyed out. Plaid+ is noted as coming in mid-2022.
