Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on Friday evening the company’s Model S Plaid delivery will be pushed to June 10, 2021, instead of June 3, 2021.
“Model S Plaid delivery pushed to June 10. Needs one more week of tweak,” said Musk.
“This car feels like a spaceship. Words cannot describe the limbic resonance,” he added.
The Model S Plaid can go from 0 to 60 mph in an eye-popping 1.99 seconds, thanks to its 1,020 horsepower coming from three high performance motors.
Tesla is slated to hold a June 3 delivery event for Model S Plaid. It appears this event may now be delayed.
Also, Musk has confirmed there will indeed be a live stream of the Model S Plaid delivery event.
