Tesla beat Wall Street expectations with its Q1 vehicle deliveries, which saw a record 180,338 vehicles produced and 184,800 vehicles delivered. What makes the feat more impressive was the fact Tesla’s Fremont factory was shut down for a couple of days, due to a global semiconductor part shortage.
Wedbush Securities analyst, Daniel Ives, increased the firm’s Tesla price target to $1,000 after the Q1 deliveries announcement. “In our opinion, the 1Q delivery numbers released on Friday was a paradigm changer,” said Ives.
