On Tuesday, the final two members were announced for the world’s first all-civilian mission to space, known as Inspiration4, set to take place later in 2021.

The final members are:

  • Christopher Sembroski of Everett, WA
  • Dr. Sian Proctor of Tempe, AZ

These two members will join previously announced Hayley Arceneaux, to be under the command of Jared Isaacman, when SpaceX’s Falcon 9 launches the crew aboard Dragon later this year, from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

SpaceX also revealed an incredible glass dome that’s part of Dragon, seen in the image above. Elon Musk called it “probably most “in space” you could possibly feel by being in a glass dome.”

You can check out the livestream replay below, from earlier today, announcing the entire four-person crew for the first time:

The Inspiration4 mission is a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, led by Isaacman. The campaign offered donors up to three civilian seats aboard SpaceX Dragon and received nearly 72,000 entries. The campaign, announced in February, has raised nearly $113 million.
