SpaceX Plans Another Starlink Satellite Launch for Sunday, March 14

Falcon 9 booster

SpaceX announced on Friday evening it is targeting its next Starlink satellite launch for Sunday, March 14 at 3:01am PDT/6:01am EDT.

“Targeting Sunday, March 14 at 6:01 a.m. EDT for Falcon 9’s next launch of 60 Starlink satellites. The first stage booster supporting this mission has completed eight flights to date,” said SpaceX.

This particular Falcon 9 booster core, B1051, will be attempting its ninth launch and landing. Its previously successful launch and landing was on January 20, 2021.

SpaceX launched 60 Starlink satellites into space on early Thursday morning this week.

It’s worth noting Daylight Saving Time kicks in on early Sunday morning (clocks spring forward 1 hour at 2am local time), so the launch time will feel like 2am PST/5am EST, if where you live will be changing clocks forward.

Sunday’s targeted launch will take place at Launch Complex 39A, at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
